Despite his skill in soccer, Scott was written in a way that seemed to intentionally go against the jock stereotype. The first thing a person can notice about him is how nice he is to almost everyone, especially to women. He likes to spend time with his dad as well, and his favorite movie is a black and white classic rather than anything modern.

His skills extend far beyond the soccer field. He seems to be intelligent, decent at poetry and possesses a talent in art as well. Academics don't seem to be his primary focus, however. We do see him 'cheat' at home by reading the cliff notes rather than the book due to how much time he dedicates to soccer.

However, he isn't perfect. His temper does have a breaking point, and he doesn't always notice the people around him. Additionally, he's a bit on the cocky side where it concerns soccer while selling himself short in other areas. While he knows his skill on the field, he doesn't believe he's anything more than a jock himself.

Of decent height, Scott is well muscled due to his interest in sports. His blonde hair is short, but a few fringes manage to fall into his blue eyes. Only a high schools student, he has no particular way of dressing, though he seems to enjoy older clothes when working out.

history

A successful high school student, Scott has served on the student council, played soccer with a fair amount of success, and done well in school. At some undetermined point in the past, his mother left both himself and his father. They seem to be well off, considering the size of their home and his father's mention of paying for Scott's continued education.

His luck wasn't to last forever. After getting slightly injured in a soccer game, his knee gives out during a race with a teammate. The resulting injury requires surgery and rehabilitation. Unwilling to wait, Scott begins to train after only months rather than the two years the doctor instructed.

Due to his good looks, popularity, and kindness, Scott gets a fair amount of female attention. This becomes dangerous when Andie begins her plan to make Scott hers. She begins harassing Scott's love interest, breaking into his home, and finally kills a teacher that is showing romantic interest in Scott.

Though Scott believes Bess, another girl who has an intense crush on him, of the behavior, he finally finds the truth when Andie tricks him into her home and knocks him unconscious. When he tries to escape, she reinjures his leg, leaving it broken and bruised. Ironically, it is Bess who saves him once he manages to escape the basement. At the end, he accepts his inability to play soccer as well as his talents in other areas when he decides to apply for an art school instead.
